WHAT DOES THE PROCESS INVOLVE FOR CUSTOM STATIONERY?
On first contact we’ll talk through your ideas, time frame and budget to determine the initial concept for your invitations.
I’ll send an estimate and timescale, for your approval, once this has been approved a 30% non-refundable,
deposit is required prior to any design work being undertaken. At this stage we'll ask you for wording and details
so I can commence work on your design.
First PDF proofs of your bespoke stationery will be sent to you within 10 working days. I provide three free proofs, which includes two proof revisions. Revisions there after are charged at £15 each. your designs are then amended in accordance to your feedback.
Once you have approved the final proof, printing will commence on receipt of the remainder of the fee.
Your stationery will then be ready for collection or delivery within four to six weeks.
Please note, the initial cost is for design only. If you require printing, I always make that extra effort to source
the highest quality printing at the best price, where possible.
WHEN ARE SAVE THE DATES APPROPRIATE?
Save the dates are sent out before invites and provide a great way to give guests enough notice before your event. If guests have to travel, we would suggest 7 - 9 months notice, otherwise 4 - 6 months in advance should be fine.
WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY INVITATIONS?
For weddings, orders should be placed at least 3-4 months before the event date, but for those who not sending out a save the date, would recommend sending your invitations 5-6 months prior to event, especially if its a designation wedding to give your guest more time to save and book flights etc.
I'm happy to discuss invites and projects that need a quick turnaround and will be able to advise on time, availability and cost on an individual basis for these.
